Laura Linney

Laura Linney was born in New York, New York on 5 February, 1964. Linney is an American actor best known for her capacity to play strong characters who are also vulnerable. Linney was born into the theatre of her family, with her father, Romulus Linney being a playwright. Linney received her degree from Brown University in 1986 and later studied at the Arts Theatre School in Moscow and then graduated at the Juilliard School (M.F.A.) in New York City in 1990. In 1990, she began appearing on Broadway in the very first week, and soon received the acclaim she received for her performances on Six Degrees of Separation (Six Degrees of Separation) and Hedda Galer.
