Kelly Michelle Stables grew up in the city of St. Louis, Missouri. She was a member of The Muny Opera. Kelly Michelle Stables received her degree with distinction in the class of 2004 from The University of Missouri Columbia in Columbia, MO. She has a Bachelor of Arts diploma in Theatre and Communication. Following her move to Los Angeles, she became involved with theater arts and started acting and choreographing roles for more than two dozen musicals and plays such as The Little Foxes Brady Bunch at Thousand Oaks Civic Light Opera as well as 7 titles roles in LA's prize-winning Storybook Theatre. Kelly began landing movie and television roles after she studied improvisation and became a Theatre West company member. Her unique voice and petite height has let her play a variety of colorful characters. Her name was well-known to the public for taking on the role of the evil Samara along with Naomi Watts, in The Ring 2. In reality, she is better known as the cheerful and bright receptionist in Two and a Half Men. Kelly worked as an TV Land series regular between 2011 and 2015, appearing as an attorney in the daytime, and as the nightclub host. Additionally, she played Alyssa's sassy sexpert sibling on ABC's Romantically Challenged. On the show on CW's No Tomorrow she portrayed the stress-stricken suburban mom. The soprano voice of hers has been featured in a variety of animated series including Doc McStuffins Tom & Jerry Sofia the First. In the last few years, she has been in the role of the slow but charming Cloud 9 employee on NBC's hit comedy Superstore. Together with her husband and two children, she leads a quiet lifestyle.
